Losing their Marbles

Five children are at their uncle’s house when they discover quite a hoard of marbles in his loft.  He gives them each a paper bag, and tells them that they may keep the marbles, as long as they put as many marbles as possible into each bag.  In the end they found 100 marbles, and split them evenly, 20 in each bag.

However, this wasn’t enough according to the mean-spirited uncle, so the nieces and nephews went home empty-handed.  What should they have done to please him?
