November Mindbenders

Around the World in 30 Days

Nick took his small plane on a tour around the world.  He set off from London at noon on 1 October, and his journey took him through New York, Hawaii, Sydney, New Delhi and finally back to London.

However, when Nick returned he found that he had forgotten to put the film in his camera, and so all records of the sights he saw had been lost.  Eager to have his pictures of the world, he went about the whole trip again, returning in London at noon on 31 October.

Nick had not bothered to keep a diary of his adventure.  To keep track of time, he simply counted the nights over his trip twice around the world.  How many nights was this?
