Ben shows Dan and Kelly two red hats and one blue hat. He then blindfolds them both, and puts one of these hats on Dan’s head, one on Kelly’s, and hides the other.
Ben then removes the blindfold from Dan’s eyes. “Can you tell me what colour hat is on your head?” Ben says to Dan.
Dan shakes his head.
“Now, from what Dan just said, I’m sure you can tell me your colour, Kelly?”
“But he didn’t say anything, Ben.”
“Exactly.”
