All Play and No WorkSome hours have been subtracted twice from the number of days available. These are the overlaps between non-working days and non-working times of the day. After subtracting the time each day spent not working, the remaining 86 days is the working time available each day multiplied by the number of days in the year. It is therefore meaningless to subtract whole non-working days from this number. What should have been subtracted is the portion of each non-working day (5 hours 40 minutes) that remains after the rest of each day has already been taken off. |
